Reservations kind of a must. Very good service and the food is just delicious! They already have a base broth that is killer but then they add a twist to every dish to kick it up a notch even more. Udon is chewy and silky, Raman is fresh and perfect. We ordered four completely different dishes and they all tasted uniquely their own. It was great that you could identify every ingredient you in the dish and it made for an enjoyable eating experience. Also quite perfect for the first snow of the season!

It's always a bit crowded and cold but tolerable for the flavors. It's not traditional it's better. The spins they take are enjoyable bombs of flavor with salt/umami, richness even in vegan dishes. I had my judgements based on my first experiences at the Detroit locations but a few years later and the Madison Heights location has brought me back. I've had miso, shoyu, and forest ramen. I love them all.

I've been to Ima twice, but can't remember what I got the first time - on my second visit, I got the pork tonkotsu ramen and a chicken bao and really enjoyed both. Service was very pleasant and the space is nice.

We loved it! The pho was my favorite though. It had an incredibly fresh taste to it. It wasn't heavy at all. The ramen was really good, but it's a heavy dish. The fries were only ok. But that pho!!! I think about it often.

I usually get food to-go more recently due to covid, but I am always satisfied by what I eat here! I think the most cost effective items are their ramen/rice bowls, which you can customize almost entirely. During the pandemic I would get qrts of their pho broth- would recommend! This is also a great place to go with friends seating wise, but appetizers imo are a little too expensive. I'd stick with everyone getting a bowl which starts at around 12$ and is more than enough food. A warm sake for the table would be well-priced, too Ima has three locations. My favorite would likely be the one in Midtown

We stopped in after visiting Wayne State. Lots of interesting options. I tried the salmon rice bowl, which was very good. Very friendly and attentive waitstaff!

I have always wanted to try this restaurant so when my friend invited me to go with her I jumped at the opportunity. The restaurant was a decent size. We sat at the bar and were quickly serviced. Our waitress explained the menu to me and offered a lot of great recommendations since it was my first time. To start I ordered the salmon roll. It was very good! The yuzu ponzu sauce that came with it was the best sauce I have ever had!! As much as I wanted to try the ramen I opted for the Fried Chicken Karaage bowl. The chicken was very good and fried to perfection. Everything that was paired with the bowl was very well mixed together! I can't wait to return to try more things.

I've gotten dinner to go from Ima Noodles more than a few times over the last several months and it's always been fantastic. First off, their online ordering is super convenient. I drop it in as I'm leaving a meeting or whathaveyou and it's typically ready in about 15 minutes. I've never had an issue parking over there either. It's easy to run in and run out. Each time I've gotten carryout I also order for my mom and my husband. Between the three of us we've tried the shrimp and scallion dumplings, the yaki butter udon, the crispy chicken don and spicy tuna rice bowls, and the boombap. It's all been excellent. Because it makes such great carryout we've yet to dine in but the space inside has much more elbow room than the previous location on Michigan Ave in Corktown and is very nicely decorated and comfortable for larger groups. I'll definitely be enjoying a meal there in person, sooner rather than later.
